Homecoming 2012--"We'll Be a Dream"

"We'll Be a Dream" was the theme for Homecoming 2012.  The gym was packed for the evening as the girls defeated the Leeton Bulldogs.  The senior girls earned their 100th career win that evening.   Retiring Queen Felicia Foster relinquished her crown as junior candidate, senior Katelyn Bracher, was named the 2012 Homecoming Queen.  Senior Victoria Engeman was named Homecoming Princess. The Montrose Bluejays played a hard-fought game against the Leeton Bulldogs, but the Leeton team was victorious. Montrose students, grades 7-12, enjoyed the dance, as well as sandwiches and snack food. read more

Montrose R-XIV School Board Recognition

January 22-28 Designated School Board Recognition Week   Governor Jay Nixon proclaims January 22-28, as School Board Recognition Week honoring the efforts and dedication of school board members across the state. Winter Weather

School closings will be listed on KDKD 95.3 radio (Clinton), KMOE 92.1 radio (Butler), and the major Kansas City television networks. We will also post this information on the Montrose R-XIV School District website.
