My teaching career began 24 years ago. I started in Cuba, Missouri, where I taught business, marketing, and journalism for 14 years. A teaching position became available in the Rolla Public School District in 2002. There I served as a marketing instructor and a cooperative education teacher. After 5 years at Rolla Technical Institute, my family and I moved home--I grew up and graduated from Appleton City. I began teaching in Montrose in the fall of 2006. The students and I work together daily in various aspects--whether it's in the classroom, in FBLA, or on the softball field.
