Ireland Named Girls Coach of the Year
Coach Scott Ireland has been named the Class 1 District 8 and the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Girls Coach of the Year. Ireland and the Montrose Lady 'Jays finished a successful 2009-2010 season unblemished with a record of 31-0 and clenched the State Championship title.
Ireland has been coaching since 2001. He began his coaching career in Fordland, MO, before moving to Montrose, MO, in the fall of 2008. Some of his coaching accomplishments include:
